FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW DOES THE LASER WORK?
Tattoos consist of thousands of particles of tattoo pigments suspended in the skin. Laser treatments cause tattoo particles to heat up and fragment into smaller pieces. The smaller fragments are then removed by normal body processes over the subsequent weeks. The laser light is absorbed by the ink in the tattoo. The laser targets the pigment in the tattoo rather than the surrounding tissue.
